I have a size XL here in the office and we took the close up photos on our sizing mannequin Shirley which is a women’s size Large/dress size 12. The jacket is a little big for the mannequin, but that is what you’d expect since it is a size larger.
I measured the chest on this size XL jacket at at about 42” max and the mid-section at about .38” max. and the hip area has a max size of 41”. In comparing that to the chart, it looks like the bust a hip measurements matches up well and the waist of the jacket has a bit more room than the chart would indicate.

Our Two Cents
The Hellcat jacket for women by Speed and Strength is an all leather, sport style jacket including armor and and a removable liner.
If this jacket ever goes on sale for about $200, it would be worth the money, but at $349 I think it is overpriced. The quality of the leather is not on par with jackets in this price range from other vendors. The finish and feel of the leather is grainy and not supple. The armor is OK, but its not cutting edge, particularly the back pad which is just a simple foam unit.
So if this jacket were priced by the manufacturer appropriately, I’d recommend it, but not until it becomes a closeout for a more reasonable price. :: Paul, 10-29-19 (more about less-than-favorable reviews)
