Our Two Cents

The Nomad vest is a great leather vest with most of the features you’ll need in a vest. The fit is easy and most people will be fine with just choosing the size they normally wear in men’s clothing. The leather used in this vest is very high quality and has a nice feel to it. It isn’t cheap feeling with the “pebbly” leather you often find in lower cost black leather items. The vest is lined with nylon material and there is a zipper down low in the back so you can easily access the back panel to add your colors or patches without your tailor having to take things apart.

On the front of the vest, there are two snap-close pockets on the upper chest and two hand warmer pockets with zippers. Your stuff should be very secure in these pockets. The zippers and snaps are all high quality. Inside is a breast pocket on one side and a concealed carry pistol pocket on the other. I’ve seen more robust gun pockets… they are typically made of leather, but this one is nylon/canvas and is reasonably sturdy. If you don’t have a gun, it will work fine for other things. Take a look at our photo gallery for some good visuals on the features and such. Overall, a very nice unit. :: Paul, 02-06-17
