Arai Cheek Pads for Corsair V, RX-Q and Signet-Q Helmets

  • Riders will sometimes need to change the cheek pads that come installed in their helmets. Some people need a little more or less space, while others simply need to install a fresh set of pads for better comfort (and smell).
  • The pads both come out and can be installed quite easily.
  • Use the chart below to figure out what size cheek pad you currently have based on your helmet size, and then pick a replacement set based on your need.

Sizing Information

Use this table to determine what cheek pad size you currently have. Please note that Corsair V and RX-Q helmets manufactured in January 2014 and later have different size cheek pads than those manufactured prior to that.
For Corsair V and RX-Q helmets, use this table:

Helmet Size Helmet Model 01/14 Mfg Date & Future Cheek Pad Size 12/13 Mfg Date & Prior Cheek Pad Size
XS Corsair V or RX-Q 25mm 30mm
Small Corsair V or RX-Q 25mm 30mm
Medium Corsair V or RX-Q 25mm 30mm
Large Corsair V or RX-Q 20mm 25mm
XL Corsair V or RX-Q 20mm 25mm
XXL Corsair V or RX-Q 20mm 25mm
XXXL Corsair V or RX-Q 15mm 20mm

For Signet-Q helmets, use this table:

Helmet Size Helmet Model 01/14 Mfg Date & Future Cheek Pad Size 12/13 Mfg Date & Prior Cheek Pad Size
XS Signet-Q 30mm 30mm
Small Signet-Q 30mm 30mm
Medium Signet-Q 30mm 30mm
Large Signet-Q 25mm 25mm
XL Signet-Q 25mm 25mm
XXL Signet-Q 20mm 20mm

You can buy the same thickness of cheek pad if you like the fit of your helmet and just need a replacement set. Or you can buy a different thickness cheek pad to adjust fit as all the cheek pads are interchangeable between the different helmet sizes. In addition to the cheek pad thicknesses listed above, there are two optional thicknesses: 12mm and 15mm.

Changing cheek pads to change the helmet fit: To get MORE room in your helmet, you need to buy a SMALLER cheek pad. To get a TIGHTER fit, you need to buy a LARGER cheek pad. Example: If you have a size Large Corsair V helmet that was manufactured after January 2014, you have cheek pads that measure 20mm. If the helmet is too tight on you, a 12 or 15mm pad would give you more room.
