These shorts are submitted by the warranty department at Motonation, which is the US distributor for Forcefield. The shorts do look new and I do see the hole in the waist band. It won’t hurt anything at least for now. If it grows, you’ll have to get it stitched up/repaired. We are not a distributor for Forcefield (yet), so do a Google search for more info.
