Our Two Cents

Designed specifically for the sport and touring motorcycle rider, the Swift Hardpack’s unique and aerodynamic shape combines aggressive design aesthetics with modern functionality. The sleek aerodynamic shape provides improved airflow over the rider while still providing over 1200 cubic inches of interior storage space. Accommodates PowerBook and PC laptop computers, PDA’s, iPod and other electronic devices. Additional features include numerous compartments, zippered pockets, straps for securing personal objects and a key ring clip. One customer writes that the Fuse model is best for protection of a laptop since the sides of the laptop compartment is within the outer hard shell. With the other Axio models, the edges of the laptop compartment are up against only the soft textile sides of the backpack, so in case of fall, the laptop sides are more easily damaged. Just passing along the comments of a guy who had first hand experience.

Note about the product name: The manufacturer had named this design “Chicane” when it was first introduced, but then changed the name to “Swift”. Didn’t get the complete story, but it was supposed to have been a trademark infringement situation, so there is no difference between products labeled as “Chicane” and products labeled as “Swift”.
