Sizing Information

We recommend you use the sizing chart below to choose a European size based upon your US street shoe size. If you are between sizes, we’d recommend the smaller of the two since the conversion size seems to be on the generous side for both length and width. We’ve been using this chart for several years with REVIT shoes and boots and it works well.

In trying on this model, we think they offer a D or E width. Those who sometimes have trouble finding a shoe or boot wide enough in a standard width might find a fit here.

Note: REVIT offers sizing conversion information in the shoes, on the boxes, and on their website, and often the conversion advice is conflicting, so please don’t be concerned if you see conversion info that differs from the chart below.

Our Two Cents

The REV’IT! Filter Shoes are a high-top lace-up shoe with some key features for motorcycle riding and they are new for 2021. They are offered in two great colorways with very interesting soles. The sole is a clear rubber that shows off a brightly colored inner sole that really pops. It kind of reminds me of the old “jellies” shoes but with a modern look and the bright underlying color.

The main basic protection features are here; The sole is sturdy with a reinforcement in the shank, and the heel surround and the toe cup are both stiffened. Each ankle gets a protector positioned over it, and those feel very nice. About the only thing missing is some sort of “keeper” for your loose laces. Maybe you can tuck those ends under the other laces though. The upper on this show is a combination of nubuck and suede leather and it has a nice look. The tongue and part of the toe box also have a textured finish similar to alligator skin in the leather.

The shoes have a nice padded collar around the ankle and OrthoLite® comfort foam insoles that really give these shoes a great feel.

Please keep in mind that these shoes aren’t really meant for either summer or wet weather riding. The only venting on the shoes is in the tongue so you don’t get much airflow. With regard to wet weather, they aren’t waterproof and the suede probably wouldn’t fare too well in wet weather long term. Otherwise, the good looks and comfort make this a nice riding shoe for cool to warm temps and dry weather. :: Mike, 10/6/21

REV’IT! Says : The Filter Riding Shoes blend CE rated rider protection into a casual, ankle height riding shoe. A highlight of the Filter Shoes is the contrasting finishes of the cowhide leather that help to animate the Filter’s rather simplified design. Suede forms the border above the sole and covers the protective ankle areas. The midsection of the boots’ upper uses soft nubuck leather which is perforated for increased airflow.
