Explorer offers rugged styling, durability and protection while incorporating the signature Merlin styling using only the best materials and components, such as high performance single-layer laminated styles, Halley Stevensons® ripstop fabrics, D3O® armour and Cordura®.

• The Taos trouser features the same, great specification as it’s accompanying jacket to include; a unique stretch and brushed soft stretch polyester shell, with large ventilation panels. CE rated armour can be found inside the pockets with an easy, over the boot ankle adjustment closure and at the knee the pattern has been cut to pre-curve for more comfort on the bike. These are a fully certified trouser, not just the armour, so riders benefit from a lightweight and breathable adventure pant without compromise to safety or performance.

• To care for your jacket, remove all armour from the shoulders, elbows and back and also any removable inner liners. Use a lint-free brush or cloth to really get into any especially dirty areas, then hand-wash the jacket with a mild or diluted detergent in lukewarm water.
