Sizing Information
These yoga pants are stretchy and so it is a little difficult to offer sizing advice beyond the manufacturer’s sizing chart so have a look at the sizing chart below provided by Speed and Strength.
I have a size 8 regular here in the office. I measured the waist at between 34” un-stretched and 37” stretched. The inseam measures 28” un-stretched and about 3” stretched.
So the size 8 I have here is a bit larger in the waist and shorter in the inseam than their standard size chart suggests. Of course, being a yoga style pant, you’d expect the inseam to be shorter because they will likely tuck into boots, or at least just reach the ankle over shoes. From what we can see here, your best bet would be to choose one dress size smaller than you normally wear.
Size | Waist | Inseam Regular | Inseam Long |
---|---|---|---|
2 | 28.5 | 32 | 34 |
4 | 30 | 32 | 34 |
6 | 31.5 | 32 | 34 |
8 | 33 | 32 | 34 |
10 | 34.5 | 32 | 34 |
12 | 36 | 32 | 34 |
14 | 37.5 | 32 | 34 |
16 | 39 | 32 | 34 |
18 | 40.5 | 32 | 34 |
Our Two Cents
Comin’ In Hot Yoga Moto pants are designed for ladies that want the look and feel of Yoga pants that can help protect in case of a fall.
The shell material of these yoga pants feels sturdy and is moderately stretchy. The feel and texture reminds me of the material that is commonly used in the arms of sport leather jackets. In the seat and knees, Kevlar is used as a liner to improve the abrasion resistance in those areas.
Faux pockets are sewn on the front and back to make it look like there are pockets, but there aren’t. Belt loops are added around the elasticized waist in case you want to add a belt. :: Paul, 08-30-19
Speed and Strength says: The Speed and Strength® Comin’ In Hot™ yoga moto pants are built with an AR300 super stretch fit frame with the knee and seat reinforced with aramid fiber thread. The Yoga-Moto pants have a moderate stretch in comparison to typical yoga pants or leggings. This is due to the protective Aramid fiber thread that is built into the pants for abrasion protection.
