Our Two Cents
Cortech’s Hyper-Flo Air Gloves are new for 2020. These glove are made for hot summer motorcycling. Both men’s and women’s glove sizes are offered (take the link below for the men’s glove).
Last week, I reviewed the men’s Sonic-Flo Gloves which are also new for 2020. Both gloves serve the same general purpose… street and sport riding in hot summer temps. Both styles are immediately comfortable to wear and offer pretty good protective features. The main difference is that this glove has a substantial rubberized knuckle protector piece where the Sonic-Flo’s knuckle armor is a glossy plastic over carbon fiber protector. Personally, I like this rubberized version a lot. It feels substantial and is a bit less “racy” than the carbon fiber glove. And it’s a few bucks cheaper too!
The insides are lined with soft slippery fabric on the top side of each hand and the palm is unlined which is a good combination because you get the padding of the liner to make the knuckle armor comfortable, but you have great feel for the controls on the palm side. The top side of the hand has panels of mesh fabric so air should come right through and make these gloves suitable for warmer weather riding.
As inexpensive summer/sport gloves go, you really can’t go wrong with this one… it’s a bargain! :: Paul, 05-26-20
