REV'IT! Veloz Gloves

If variety is the spice of life, then the Veloz gloves are the flavor of urban riding. With a blend of mixed medias and a hot silhouette – yet ventilation to keep things cool – ride in style when things heat up outside.

Standout Design The standout design of the Veloz gloves is a synthesis of textures, graphics, and colors. The playful blend of 3D air mesh (for full ventilation), corduroy (for the safe and chic modern look), microfiber at the palm so you have a handle on things, goatskin for durability, flexibility, and protection) make for a CE-level 1 gloves.

Taking things further Those features combined with the SEESOFT 3D knuckle, a short neoprene cuff for added comfort against your skin, OrthoLite® foam on the palm, a pull tab for easy on/off, and a hook-and-loop closure for ideal snugness. Whether you opt for a bold color or a ton-sur-ton/black-on-black offering, subtle branding and bold graphics add that extra dimension to complement your street riding style.

Sizing Information

We find that gloves from REV’IT! are generally very consistent in fit from one model to the next, and we find they run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully, you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The REV’IT! Veloz Gloves are designed for riders in warmer climates as they flow a good amount of air since they feature 3D Air mesh on the back of the hand and on the outside of the thumb for full ventilation. Additionally outside of the 3D Air mesh, the goatskin leather on the top of the hand is ventilated as well. From a protection standpoint the gloves feature a Seesoft 3D Knuckle that is comfortable but doesn’t fully mold like other Seesoft 3D knuckles from REV’IT! (for example like the ones found on their Endo gloves) this one seems to be somewhere between the moldable Seesoft Knuckles and a Hard TPU like knuckle. Another nice touch is that the Seesoft from the knuckles comes all the way up the hand to the wrist. Additional palm protection comes from the OrthoLite foam located at the bottom of the palm with additional memory foam underneath the knuckle protector.

The inside of the palm features an embossed grip material with polyurethane (PU) and the rest of the palm is a microfiber material.

The REV’IT! Veloz gloves also feature touch screen compatible finger tips on both the index finger and the thumb and in testing performed well with both Android and iPhone devices.

Overall the REV’IT! Veloz Gloves offer comfort, flexibility and a ton of air flow but with that kind of a build you do lose some protection vs full leather gloves with TPU Hard knuckles and hard palm sliders. This type of a glove would mostly be recommended for lower speed urban commuting. :: Damir, 3-2-24
