These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. Our Two Cents
The Icon Outdrive gloves are a new perforated glove for fall 2021.
These gloves use the Ax Laredo synthetic leather that Icon has started putting in most of their glove line. It stands up to the abrasion needs of a motorcycle glove, but it sure feels thin. Overall the construction of this glove feels cheap, and there isn’t much attention to detail.
The back of the hand and fingers have perforations so they should flow a good amount of air and the knuckle is a combination of D3O under a hardened carbon look knuckle protector. The index finger and thumb seem to work ok on Apple and Android devices, but you have to use the front of the finger and not the tip.
These gloves will get the job done for someone looking for a cruiser style glove with a beefier protection. With the perforations they should perform well in hot to cool weather. :: Mike, 12-23-21
