The Joe Rocket Ballistic 7.0 textile overpants work just as advertised. Fit is accurate, and the additional velcro tabs at the ankle help keep the pants down over the boots as well as keeping the wind out. They go on and off very easily over boots, making them an excellent choice for wearing over street clothes. The only "issue" I've had with them so far is they soaked through in a downpour rain on the highway. But, I did not have the waterproof liner in them at the time. The liner is a heavy, rubbery plastic that will definitely keep all the rain out, but may be insufferable in warmer weather. The liner is very easily installed and removed, though, so if you see those storm clouds ahead, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to install it on the side of the road. The pants alone are fine in a light rain, however, so you won't always need to put the liner in. I'm looking forward to seeing how well the heavy rain liner keeps my legs warm during winter commuting. Keep up the great work, folks!
