Sizing Information

These gloves are consistent with the major brands we carry, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Off the Chain gloves from Speed and Strength are a basic, leather palmed glove that will be great for casual street riding, especially in warm weather. The molded rubber knuckle protectors and wrist strap set these gloves apart from other gloves in this price range, while adding a bit of protection too. The palm is leather, with reinforcements at the base of the palm for some extra abrasion resistance. Between the fingers you will find a stretch lycra material, which breathes well and also makes the gloves very comfortable to wear. We have taken several photos of these gloves here in our studio, so be sure to click the “View Larger Images” link above to take a closer look.

Note about the close-up photos: We were using the black/red version for our feature photos when we first added these gloves to the site, so we included those photos in our gallery; that color is now on closeout. The features of the all black gloves are the same as the black/red gloves.

I was looking for a pair of comfortable gloves for daily use, and came across these SS gloves. The palm leather-finish gives it a very good feel. Light-weight, just nice for my daily commute to work. (Read more...)
