These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Just as an FYI, you may have previous experience with European designed brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! which run about one half size smaller, size-for-size, than the American brands. It is not a universally true fact, but generally holds for most styles. So if a particular size in either of those brands is roomy on you, then you may be able to go down one full size in this style.
Our Two Cents
Wow, I give these gloves the award for the most substantial knuckle armor! The knuckles are covered with a combination of molded carbon fiber hard armor and then surrounding all that is a molded rubber protector that gives it even more height and width! Besides that, there is a harder plastic “slider” in the palm area of each glove. These sliders are to promote sliding if you crash. The idea is that sliding is less damaging than a twisting motion might otherwise get if raw leather were to hit the pavement. Makes sense to me. And then besides those armor items, there are small plastic and foam bits on the back of the fingers (mostly to complete the look I think) and some notable extra leather and padding on the side of the smallest finger (which needs extra help in a crash.
I thought these gloves were quite comfortable for the try-on. The leather is soft and of medium thickness so no major breaking in will be required. The fingers have externally sewn seams which makes them more comfortable to wear. The cuff closes with a simple Velcro strap.
Overall, these gloves look and feel good and have that amazing knuckle protector! Not bad for the money I’d say. :: Paul, 11-13-14
