We checked the fit using our standard size mannequins and found them to fit very nicely. This jacket is sold in men’s alpha sizes so you can choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing. The jackets have an average to slim cut and taper some from the chest size to the waist and they have side adjusters to help get a good fit at the waist. If you have a bit of a belly/waist you can check and make sure that your measurement doesn’t exceed about 5 inches less than the chest size stated below. Example: a size large jacket will handle a 45” max chest and about a 40” max belly. Here is the sizing information provided by the manufacturer:
|Sleeve||33||34||35 1/2||36 1/2||37|
Our Two Cents
The CBR Project H textile jacket from Speed and Strength is for Honda CBR enthusiasts who want a sharp but simply styled textile jacket. The outer shell is textile so it will work for a variety of weather conditions; the jacket is water resistant, has zippered vents to let some air flow through and has an insulated vest liner. Reflective trim provides nighttime visibility and there is CE armor in the shoulders and elbows for protection, along with a foam back pad. The graphics on the jacket are great looking. They are sort of a rubberized material and are raised up off the material (just just a screen print). You also get the normal convenience and comfort features such as pockets inside and out and waist adjusters. I like the rolled collar material which will be very comfortable from the start.
