Joe Rocket Supermoto 2.0 Gloves

These gloves are great! It’s not always easy to find a good short cuff glove that offers as much protection as the Supermoto 2.0 does. A split molded knuckle protector kicks things off with protection for the back of the hand. The first three fingers also get some carbon fiber armor as well as foam padding. The sides of the gloves are reinforced with some extra leather material for abrasion protection, and the palm has an extra layer of leather at the base of the fingers. The base of the palm might be my favorite thing about these gloves. It has a carbon fiber slider built in which will not only provide good impact protection, but will also slide down the pavement rather than catching. That’s a great protective feature (plus carbon fiber just looks cool too). The Supermoto 2.0 Gloves are made from drum dyed leather that is very supple and soft right out of the package, and the external stitching on the fingers means there isn’t anything digging into your hands on the inside. Lastly, a foam pad extends down and protects the outer wrist bone, which is something a lot of short cuff gloves leave unprotected.
