Sizing Information

For your reference, these gloves fit consistently with the major American designed brands we carry such as Tour Master, Joe Rocket, FirstGear, etc, which are “normal” in fit and size. And they are a bit more roomy than some European brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! that typically run about a half size smaller than the American “normal” fit. Hopefully you have some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Hooligan glove from Icon is the latest iteration in a long line of Hooligan items dating back to around 2013.

This glove is a short cuff mesh summer style glove. The palm uses Icon’s Ax Laredo™ synthetic leather which they say is more abrasion resistant than real leather. There is an extra layer of the Ax Laredo™ over the outer side of the palm that continues over the pinky.

The cuff of this glove is secured with a simple hook and loop closure. The back of the hand is a full mesh material with a thin rubber-like overlay over the knuckles. The knuckle of this glove has some padding that feels like it might be foam, so nothing substantial.

Overall this is a great lightweight glove option for someone looking for a minimalistic mesh glove. It should perform well in hot to warm weather for just about any riding style where armor isn’t required or desired. :: Mike, 01/06/2022
