Sizing Information
Some REV’IT! gloves feel a bit snug as compared to other American brands we carry. I’d say this one runs only slightly small, so I’d advise you to choose the size you normally wear in gloves. If you are between sizes, then choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Our Two Cents
The Summit H2O gloves from REV’IT! are meant for street/sport riders who want full coverage and protection and some significant armor in the gloves that will also be waterproof. This glove feels great. The waterproof liner is expertly installed so that you feel very little bulk and it does not feel like a “glove inside a glove”. The interior is lined with a soft, comfortable material and the gloves go on and come off quickly and smoothly. The goat skin leather is soft and expensive feeling. And although overall fit is a personal thing, I really like the way these feel on my hands… the gloves are pre-curved so there is no excess material in the palm or elsewhere. The goatskin leather is thin enough to allow good feel for the controls but durable enough to provide good abrasion protection in a fall. Part of the back side of the glove is a textile material, which looks sharp and will cut down on weight a bit. The knuckles are covered by a semi-flexible molded protector and there is a hard plastic slider in the heel of the hand (it’s best if your hand slides rather than grabs and twists if you ever hit the pavement). These gloves are only insulated to the extent the interior liner and the waterproof barrier provides. Those who live in climates with mild to warm weather and rain will really like this style. We’ve taken some good close-up pics along with some night shots that show how the reflectives work for nighttime visibility. Take the “View Larger Images” link above to see those. Another feature you will appreciate for colder weather is the shield wiper on the left index finger. Overall, I really like this style mainly because of the fit. I’m not an extreme cold weather rider and a glove like this will work for me without the bulk of insulation. :: Paul, 11-07-12
