Sizing Information
We measured a selection of these vests and found them to fit true to the stated size. Vests are generally very forgiving for fit since they don’t have shoulders, and the waist/belly sizes on these vests are quite relaxed. I’d advise you to choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.
We also put the Medium on Huey and the XL on Dewey and they look good. I developed a chart below to show you the max chest and max belly size for each alpha size offered.

Our Two Cents
The Z1R 30-30 vest is is the most simple design of the vests we carry from Z1R. Its a V-neck, more western design and it has the lacings down the sides of the torso which adds some style and gives just a bit of functional adjustment for size.
Like the other vests from Z1R, this one is equipped with gun pockets inside, and outside, there are four pockets in front. The upper two are snap close and the lower two close with a zipper so you won’t lose your stuff.
Take the “View Larger Images” link above to see some good close-ups of the specific features and also those gun pockets. There are actually two gun pockets and each one is lined with a heavy black canvas and also has a couple wide elastic straps to hold the hardware in place. The pockets close with a single snap.
The back of the vest is a single slab of leather with no seams to make it easy to add your club colors. The inside of the vest is lined with nylon. :: Paul, 01-16-18
