Sizing Information

Speed and Strength jackets seem to have a more relaxed fit than is indicated in the provided size chart (see below). If you are between sizes or want a more snug fit, we would recommend choosing a size smaller. Our model in the pictures normally wears a large and was comfortable in the medium jacket shown.

Our Two Cents

I wish I could tell you that the “Under the Radar” textile jacket really was impervious to police radar detection (how cool would that be?), but alas, it’s just another clever name from Speed and Strength. The blacked out logos do give the jacket a cool stealth look, so all is not lost. The Under the Radar is a good all around textile jacket that seems to be of high quality. The textile material used in this jacket is a bit lighter weight than what is found on some jackets, which means this jacket is light and comfortable to wear. For warmer weather there are zippered vents at the biceps, shoulders, and two exit vents on the rear. This should provide a decent amount of airflow; the only really hot weather hesitation I would have is that it’s a black jacket. For cold weather there is a removable vest type thermal liner. This will work down in the cooler temps, but your arms will still feel the cold temperatures unless you layer up underneath. For protection there is a dual density foam back pad and CE approved armor for the elbows and shoulders.
