Speed and Strength Moment of Truth Leather Jacket (Black/42)

This jacket is sold in US chest sizes. Here are the measurements that Speed and Strength provides for their leather jackets:

We checked out the sizing of these jackets in our offices and find the chart above to be reasonably accurate. Please be sure to check your belly measurements also. Belly sizes should not be bigger than the chest minus 6”. For example, if you choose a size 48 your belly should not be bigger than 40 to 42 inches.

The Moment of Truth leather jacket offers high quality thick cowhide combined with small areas of textile which provides more freedom of movement that many leather sport jackets. There are strips of textile incorporated into the sleeves that extend down each arm and down the side of the torso. This allows the sleeve to pivot more freely than most at the shoulder. And combining a bit of textile also cuts down on the overall weight of a thick leather jacket. For protection you get the usual CE approved shoulder and elbow armor and a dual density foam back pad. For climate control there are two smallish zippered vents in front and two larger vents in the back. These will work only marginally well, so consider this jacket for warm weather, but not hot weather. The leather shell along with the removable vest-type thermal liner should do a pretty good job in cold weather. Overall, I like the simple styling and design.
