The ladies here in the office felt that the overall fit/size of this new style seems “true” to their published size chart (see below). So if you are comfortable with a certain size from previous boots, then choose the same size.

Our Two Cents
Here is a sharp looking sport boot designed specifically for women. If you’re one of the ladies who likes to take a ride on the sporty side, then these might be the boots for you. While these aren’t a full on race boot, they are a very nice pair of sport boots that would be well suited to sport riding, touring, or even light track day use. They are a great looking pair of boots too, with external armor on the shin, calf, and heel, plus a replaceable toe slider. There is no question that these are made for the serious rider. Ankle support is quite good, and the sole has an internal steel shank which helps stiffen things up. Those features are great for protection and ride feel and control, but they come at a price – these boots are not made for walking (sorry I couldn’t resist). They are a bit on the stiff side. Not too terrible, but I wouldn’t want to go to the zoo in them. Side zipper and Velcro closure makes these fairly easy to get on and off, and the mesh lining inside keeps things comfortable. The Stella S-MX 5 boots also have some venting ports at the ankle, heel, and forefoot to keep your feet cool on those hot summer days.
