The body of this back protector is made of highly stretchy material, so the fit shouldn’t be a problem. Just choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.
Our Two Cents
The Alpinestars Bionic Action Jacket is a combination of several pieces of armor all in one comfortable unit. Have a look at the list of features from Alpinestars for the ratings and particulars, but generally speaking, you get elbows, shoulders, chest and a back protector. All the armor pieces are made of a combination of a foam pad base with a firm plastic armor piece on top. The construction is quite comfortable as is the stretchy “shirt” that holds it all together. And the back protector includes a wide kidney belt that makes it fell secure.
I can see how this armor setup would enable you to make any un-armored jacket shell MUCH more crash worthy. I can also see a person using this armor under a jersey for off road riding. overall, this is a very nice unit with a LOT of protection, and all this is offered at a very reasonable price in my opinion. :: Paul, 10-04-17
