For decades now I've worn only HJC helmets because they fit my 2XL spheroidal head. Over time they've become more gadget-y and less appealing so I wanted to try something else. I'm happy to say that this Scorpion EXO-R420 in 2XL fits really well. It's just a bit too snug, as is expected of a new helmet. The ventilation seems to be good and overall it's a bit quieter than the CL-17 I wore yesterday. The shield detents are just right, although I will need to adapt to the black plastic shield latch at the bottom center. Strangely, somehow, it makes the KLR look faster.
