I've owned a couple of Revit Eclipse jackets; lost the first one in a gentle slide on a sandy curve, which shreaded the right side, but the padding protected me. This newer one fits fine (I'm 5'6", 165 pounds, sport rider), but it has a couple of weak points. First, the freakin' velcro closures at the wrists just don't work. It's as if the male/female parts are from different manufacturers. They flap open within seconds, and are basically useless. Second, the silver looks great for about two rides, then quickly looks like a grimy t-shirt. Requires regular washing to make it presentable. I'll scotch-guard it next time I wash it. I've also doubled up on the shoulder and elbow pads, and added a back pad; the Eclipse is apparently a real stripper model, so dig around in your gear box to fill it out. Anyone know why they put the zippers on the wrong side?
