Love these new riding pants for my electric unicycle use. The knee protection also includes shin protection as well, it did not mention how long the padding went. But pleasant surprise! I usually wear a medium, but ended up getting small and it worked out great. I am 5'8 152 lbs, the length was just perfect. It is about 3-4 lbs of added weight but well worth the convenience of not putting on knee guards during my rides. This was tested in about 30 degree weather w/ gusty winds, and wow these pants block out all the wind and keeps you warm with the internal lining provided. I am in love w/ these pants and may pick up another color so I can alternate between my riding outfits.
