We checked the fit on these jackets with our size mannequins and we also spot checked a few different size jackets with a tape. We feel this model runs true to size. The jackets are sold in ordinary “alpha” sizes, so you can choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.
Vests are an easier fit than a jacket because they don’t have sleeves and therefore don’t have a very specific max chest size like a jacket. We’ve put together the chart below to help you make sure you are choosing the right size. Make sure the size you choose will be big enough for both your chest and you belly.
This vest has snaps at the waist so you can bring the waist size in about 2” total. This is a more casual style, so it is made to fit more loosely than other tactical style vests.

Our Two Cents
The Iron Sights denim vest come is two versons… one with a traditional shirt collar (shown here) and one with a banded collar (they call it “club” collar). The vests are identical except for the collar design. (look for a link below to the other version).
This is a full denim vest for those that would rather not go with leather. These vests have a pretty full feature list. There are four pockets in front and a conceal carry pocket inside. The inside pocket is lined with sturdy material and is good sized. The whole inside of the vest is lined with nylon and a removable back pad is included. Also, this vest has a long zipper in the lining so your tailor can easily access the back to sew on your club colors.
The vest is made a bit more secure by having a zipper down the front behind the snaps. The version with the traditional collar has little snaps hidden behind the collar tips so they don’t flap against your neck at highway speeds. The waist band can be adjusted smaller on these vests with a couple side snaps. And finally, I see a loop in the back so you can anchor the tail of the vest in back to your jean’s belt. :: Paul, 03-02-18
