Icon Pursuit Perforated Glove

The gloves fit true to size and have an “American” fit. They are consistent with the major US brands we carried—Joe Rocket, Tourmaster, Olympia, etc. For comparison, you’ll find an American fit glove like this to be just a bit more roomy than some European brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! that typically run about a half size smaller.

The Icon Pursuit glove is a classic that has been updated over the years and this 2020 glove looks and feels just as good as the original but with some modern updates.

We first carried the Pursuit glove back in about 2006 and the original style remained unchanged for many years. Last year, Icon came out with a “CE” version made of a man-made leather substitute material called Ax Suede Laredo. I liked those gloves and I think they are nice, but I like these “real” goatskin gloves even better! The look and feel of the leather is just great and they’ll break in to be one of your most comfortable pairs of gloves.

The Pursuit glove comes in two versions… a perforated leather glove which is sold on this page. There is also a solid version which is made for mild or cooler weather use. Take the link below to view the solid leather Pursuit. This fully perforated glove will perform well in mild or hot months of the year when a solid leather glove gets too warm.

This glove is a short cuff “cop or CHP” style cut glove. With the exception of the little handy pull tab on the underside of the wrist, this glove ends right at the wrist. It gives full leather coverage over the hands and fingers and it secures at the wrist with a Velcro tab. Thankfully they’ve used the non-snaggy kind of Velcro so they won’t attach to your pocket liners when you carry them.

The knuckles and the backs of the fingers have built in molded protectors over them. The protectors are firm enough to give some impact protection but flexible enough to be comfortable. The palm has double leather in the wear areas. This new version has conductive thread at the tip of the index finger and thumb so you can operate your phone.

The Icon Pursuit glove is a “can’t go wrong” product in my opinion, so I recommend them. These are so much better than common inexpensive black leather patrol gloves you see in shops. :: Paul, 05-15-20
