For frame of reference, I am 5'10" tall, 200 pounds; 44 inch chest and a 36 inch waist. I wear size 56 in all of my Dainese Jackets, so the G2 is the right size for me. It's light, flexible and moves with me. I much prefer the G2 protector over the wave or the Manis. Those protectors were very stiff, and I felt them uncomfortably all of the time. I buy a G2 for every Dainese Jacket that I own, though I know that it is easy to swap the armor out; some jackets easier than others though. The best thing is that many back protectors because you to lose a half of a size in the overall fit of the jackets. I DON'T feel that with this protector. Peace, Brian J
