I bought this TourMaster Sonora after dissatisfaction with a competitor's jacket. But, the basic idea was to finally buy and update to my very firstr purchase from 'NewEnough' in June 2007, 10 years ago! That was also a TourMaster, an original "Intake" model, that is long in the tooth, but still somewhat serviceable today. [Review coming] But designs and materials improve, and it was time to get a new "keeper." I had gotten a couple other meshes over the decade, but none lasted. This [new-to-me] Sonora fully fits the bill. First, a very comfortable fit, and an almost plush feel to it. All meshes breath, but the Sonora is downright airy, while still imparting a high degree of feeling of security. The armor is comfortable enough I may not install the D3O [though prob will ;-) ]. I really like the 3/4 length, and for a mesh, it has quite adequate storage - two external chest pockets, a 'napolean' pocket left side, inside -a media and 2nd flap covered pocket on left, and a larger patch 'cargo' interior pocket lower right. There are also two handwarmer/external pockets low on the sides. There are waist, arm, and cuff adjusters, with the waist and cuff being velcro-type adjusters, allowing exacting personal fit, yet there is enough length in the [hook&loop] receiving side, that there should never be any end flapping in the wind. Visibility striping [phosplite] to the front and sides is phenomenal. All-in-all a terrific jacket with which I am very pleased. If it holds up like its predecessor in my closet,o I will be more than ecstatic. Likewise, Kudos to the MG staff, in particular, Aaron, for being so helpful. Always a pleasure.
