Today I had the chance to ride with the Cortech Latigo 2.0 jacket together with the Cortech Latigo pants. I'm riding around Puerto Vallarte, Mexico, where temperatures are a bit on the upper side. Today we had 30 degrees Celsius (=86 degrees Fahrenheit). Sure, it's hot, when you stand, at a traffic light or in a parking lot. Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised about the amount of air that flows through both, jacket and pants. I wear an additional backprotector (Alpinestars Bionic) under the jacket, as well as some dry fit under armor for our temperatures, and the jacket fits perfectly snug. Both, jacket and pants, break in very fast within the first ride. Leather is soft to touch. Zippers work well. Connecting the pants with the pants through the 360 circunference zipper is easy to do. The snug fit assures that protectors stay in place perfectly. It becomes more comfortable in (sport-)riding position due to the precurved arms (and legs on pants). Price-value relation is on the better side. In my humble opinion, you get a lot of bang for the buck, especially after buying the pants on a closeout deal. To choose your size correctly go with the chart. If in doubt, just ask the fantastic Motorcycle Gear staff like I did. The "handwarmer pockets", which I honestly use for storing cell phone, wallet and keys, are easier to reach when the jacket is zipped close. Otherwise, the pockets are a bit far back. Btw., I also purchased the HJC R-PHA 10 Evoke helmet, I wear in the photo, at Motorcycle Gear. I didn't need a helmet when I received their email informing about the helmet as closeout deal. It was just such a great deal, I had to order the helmet. Motorcycle Gear just rocks!
