Unfortunately I crash tested these just over a week ago. The leather on the palm is quite thin and I'm pretty sure mine abraded away almost instantly in a ~70km/h get off. Had I not have pulled my hand in to my chest as soon as I felt pain my hand would be really nasty, as is it's got category 3 road rash and I did 6 or 7 tumbles after pulling my hand in to protect it. Pros: The gloves are great for comfort and air flow, very light and don't bunch up which is nice. The carbon knuckles held up well, as can be seen in the pic they saved my knuckles! Cons: Stones can easily penetrate the fabric parts and take out small skin chunks (happened on these). The leather is very thin and abrades quickly. Overall: Great gloves for summer city street riding, but for canyon riding, track days or commuting I'd suggest looking for more protection. Common sense really, but for those new to buying gear I hope this will help...
