Our Two Cents
The Stylmartin Navigator boots are a traditionally styled waterproof riding boot.
The Navigator boots look like your typical waterproof touring boot. They are a solid black boot with a rubberized overlay on the toe box for shifter protection. The rear of the boots have a reflective strip for nighttime visibility and the ankles have internal polyurethane protection. On the outside of the ankle on the lateral side there is an additional TPR overaly as well. A full height waterproof gaiter will keep water out of these boots. The soles are anti-slip and oil-resistant with a little more variation in the tread than a typical touring boot so you should have some good traction in these off the bike as well.
The real difference that Stylmartin provides is at the calf. These boots have a full length medial zipper for easy entry, and the closure at the top is Velcro® for adjustability. Where the Navigator outshines the competition is that they have allowed you to expand both sides at the cuff thanks to dual sided Velcro® flap closures. This allows you to open the boot up to a pretty wide cuff to accommodate a larger calf.
The Stylmartin Navigator boots are an excellent option for the touring or commuter rider that wants a traditional height waterproof boot and it is an ideal boot option for one that has larger calves than the average rider.
