Note About Shipping: Items that show an availability of “Same Day” are physically located in our Lubbock TX warehouse and will ship on the same day as ordered if you order by 2 p.m. central on a weekday (or the next working day if ordered after 2 p.m central.)
Items showing “3-5 Days” will ship as soon as we receive the item from the Dainese US distribution system which can range from one to four weeks. The Dainese US distributor relies on inventory in their US warehouse as well as inventory overseas. Unfortunately, their system is not capable of giving us a more accurate real-time estimate. If you are concerned about the shipping time on any particular item showing “3-5 Day” availability, please reach us using the Customer Service link here on our website, otherwise, we’ll assume you are OK with the longer time frame for delivery.

Sizing Information
We tried a selection of these boots in our showroom and found the size chart conversion to be accurate for length. The width of the boots is “medium” or C/D width. We suggest using the size chart to choose a size based upon your US shoe size, or of course choose the European size you wear if you know it.
In trying on these shoes myself, I found the length to be correct and the overall fit to be a bit on the snug side so if you are between sizes, I’d advise trying the larger. Click the image below to make it bigger:
Our Two Cents
The Dainese Street Darker Gore-Tex shoe is a sturdy and styling all-black riding shoe with a waterproof liner. The shoe is lightweight but sturdy.
This shoe is a combination of microfiber (synthetic suede) and a sturdy textile material. The shell is well built. The overall look and feel reminds me of a military or police shoe. The fabric will add to breathability, but it feels extremely tough and should last really well.
This shoe has a GoreTex liner which will make the shoe waterproof, which will be handy when walking through wet streets. But be advised a short shoe like this won’t keep water out if it comes over the top of the boot. So if you want to rely on a short style like this on the bike, make sure your rain pants are long enough to go over the tops of the foot all the way down to the ankle and they have a way to secure over the shoe to prevent water coming in over the top.
As for protection, you get all the usual features… reinforcing material in the toe and heel areas, and solid protectors over each ankle bone. The sole is reasonably stiff too. Overall, this looks like a well made product. :: Paul, 09-26-19
