Sizing Information

We had only a size 11 to try on here in the store. I usually wear size 11.5 or 12 at the most so I expect size 11 to be snug, but these are VERY SMALL. I’d guess these are size 1 to 2 sizes smaller than stated. If you wear a whole size, choose one size bigger. If you are a half size, go with 1 1/2 size bigger.

Our Two Cents

Today I’m looking at both the 2019 Mercury Boot and also the Razor boot. The Mercury is styled more traditionally like a short touring boot. The Razor is a short shoe with more sport styling.

I can’t recommend either of these two boot styles. The overall quality is low and the protective features are thin. In a motorcycle boot we expect a sole with reasonable stiffness and these have even less stiffness than my Vans canvas shoes. The feature list says “leather”, but I’d be surprised if they were… they look like lower quality microfiber material. Both boots have integral armor on the sides of the ankles, but in the boot I tried they aren’t positioned where my ankle bones are.

I’ve always liked Joe Rocket’s gear, but these two boots styles are a bust in my opinion. I think their desire to hit a low price went too far. :: Paul, 04-05-19
