These boots fit us just about right as compared to the stated size, so I’d advise you to buy the size you normally wear. I’d estimate the width as “D” or medium. The boots lace up, so there is a lot of adjustability for fit as long as the length is right.

The Icon Hooligan shoe is a high-top shoe style for street riders. The upper is a tough nylon material and the ankles have protective armor inserts.

So with a traditional lace up design, the inside liner and interior padding of the shoe is attached to the upper and there is a separate tongue, which all works well with laces to make the shoe/boot easy to get on/off and to adjust for fit. This shoe is constructed with a simple, unlined upper over an internal bootie (not removable). The bootie is like a heavy duty neoprene sock of sorts which has a close fit neck and a non-adjustable overall size. The design unfortunately makes these boots a pain the neck to put on because it’s hard to get your foot past the smallish neck of the bootie. And then the fit is largely not adjustable with the laces. After struggling to get them on, I ask myself “why??”. I don’t see any benefit to a design like this other than to increase my life’s struggles. I’ll pass and you should too.
