Below is the size chart developed by Tour Master for this product . We’ve checked these pants against the chart and we find it is accurate, so our recommendation is to use the chart and choose based on your waist measurement. The waist band of this pant includes flex material so they are forgiving. You’ll probably want to utilize the belt loops with your own belt to secure them.

Our Two Cents
The Tour Master Quest pant is an all-purpose riding pant for everyday use. This pant isn’t an overpant but rather is designed to be worn over underwear (not over your street clothes). The cost is the lowest of all the TourMaster pants this season such as the Overpant. Armor is included for the knees and options CE hip armor is available. Both men’s and women’s sizes are available in this design (take the link below for the other gender).
Commuters like overpants so they can wear them over their street clothes and put them on/take them off easily, but if you don’t need those features and want the same basic protective features in a more simple design, this is it. Since this is “stand alone” pant design, you’ll need extra pockets for your things, so this pant includes front hand pockets much like with jeans, and in the back are two zippered wallet pockets.
The shell of this pant is made of a sturdy nylon material and is made waterproof by a fixed liner. There are no venting features so I’d recommend this style only for temps from mild to cold, and of course rain or shine. The simple fixed liner with no zips or other openings will perform well at keeping you dry.
Tour Master is featuring SafeTech brand armor in their 2020 and later products. The knee armor included is a CE level 2 design made of a flexible, more “squishy” rubberized material, which I think is an improvement in comfort over past designs using less flexible black solid rubber. The pockets situated on the inside liner of the pant holds the knee armor in place and is built with a “high-med-low” adjustment system to allow you to get a good fit over your knee. Simple thin foam pads are fitted into armor pockets in the hip, optionally you can beef up the hip armor to SafeTech units are available at a very low cost by taking the link at the bottom of this page.
This pant has a VERY low price point, but it offers good construction and good armor, so if you only need a simple pant style like this, then you’ll be able to save yourself some money. :: Paul, 01-29-21
