Sizing Information

Use the chart below to select a size based on your waist and inseam. The actual measurements of the jeans (shown here) are very similar to the sizes marked on them except we find the inseams start at 32” on the 30” waist and gain an inch with each waist size. So the larger the waist, the longer the inseam measurement.

Size Waist Measurement Inseam Length
30 30 32
32 32 33
34 34 34
36 36 35
38 38 35.5
40 40 36

Our Two Cents

The Alpinestars Copper Plus Pants are a reinforced and armored jean in the style of a casual jean.

These jeans feature an aramidic fiber layer in the seat, hips, and down the front of the leg to the knee. This layer offers abrasion resistance. The lower end of the layer is not stitched to the outer jean shell, this is a styling choice so there are not a bunch of odd seams on the outer garment. The result is a deceptively casual looking jean. The only signs of anything motorcycle oriented are the small reflective strips on the right rear pocket and the red stitching at the right front pocket seam that comes down and forms the Alpinestars logo outline. Very slick indeed.

The Bio-Flex knee armor is very thin and flexible so you should be comfortable in these jeans off the bike even without removing the armor. The jeans also have pockets for optional Bio-Flex hip armor (see related products) so you can upgrade that protection if you like.

These jeans are great for the commuter or even destination rider who wants to be protected on the bike without looking like they are when off the bike. They will perform in multiple temperature ranges, especially if you choose to layer beneath or over the top in cold weather. :: Mike, 1-28-2022
