Sizing Information

Please refer to the standard size chart below for ladies REVIT pants. We checked a size 40 regular in our showroom and found the waist to measure out at about 34” which is a little larger than the chart would suggest, but they have adjusters on each side of the waistband are Velcro straps for adjustment. There is approximately one or two inches/side of adjustability, so you can make the pants about 4” smaller than the max size we measured. The inseam on the size 40 regular measures 32” which is significantly longer than REVIT’s size chart indicates. I’ll have to admit, we didn’t have a full size run of pants to evaluate, but from what I see, the pants run about one size bigger than their size chart indicates.

Our Two Cents

The new Outback 3 pants by REVIT are made to work well with the Outback 3 jacket. These pants will be great for the everyday street rider. The styling is straightforward and there is a great deal of built in flexibility to handle your commuting weather conditions. These pants are available for both men and women. Take the link below to the the other gender version.

Note: The functionally these pants are VERY similar to REVIT’s Offtrack product. The Offtrack has styling that is slightly more “adventure” where the Outback 3 is more “street”. There is some cut/paste text in the description below from the Offtrack Pant review to describe similar features.

Most street riders live where there are four seasons and this pant starts with a basic shell made of abrasion resistant materials and adds liners to handle varying weather conditions. This pant has a dual liner setup which is useful in mild or cooler temps and also for wet weather too. You choose whether to use the thermal liner, or the rainproof liner, or both together depending upon the conditions you have at the moment. You can experiment in different temps and conditions and see how each works singularly or in tandem. With both liners in use, you can wear these pants down to some pretty cold temps.

In warmer weather, you’ll remove both liners and open the zip vents on the thighs to let some air flow through. With a setup where the waterproofing comes from a removable liner, the air passing through vents goes directly to your skin so its pretty effective. Keep in mind though that a relatively short thigh zip vent really won’t compare to a pant that has significant mesh panels in it, so I can’t say this pant will be comfortable when the temps really rise, but for all of the months except the hottest summer months, they’ll give you a lot of control and comfort.

CE 2 armor is supplied for the knees and level 1 armor is supplied in the hips, so there is nothing else to add to these pants. The waist zipper is set up to zip to any REVIT jackets either with a short rear zip or an all-around zipper. The all-around zipper is more secure and also it will keep water out better, but it takes a little longer to put together, so you also have the option to just use the short rear zip which is quicker.

The two large patch pockets on the thighs will give you a lot of storage and there is also one zip close front pocket up by the waist band on the right side (phone maybe?). Night time reflectives are included on the sides of the legs. The leg ends have the usual zipper that rises from the end of the pant about 18”. You can use that zipper to help put the pants on. And then there is a Velcro tab you can use to fit the leg end around your style of boot. :: Paul, 03-15-19

REVIT says: The Outback 3 Ladies trousers are a versatile pair of pants to meet female motorcyclists’ everyday riding needs. They offer protection, ventilation, significant storage space and a women’s specific fit. An abrasion-resistant outer shell with SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 knee protection and SEESMART™ CE-level 1 hip protectors are your armor on the road. During inclement weather, the detachable hydratex®|Mesh G-liner and a detachable thermal liner will keep you comfortable. When opened, the VCS zippers at the upper legs allow air in to cool you down. Pair it with the Outback 3 Ladies jacket for an ideal riding suit.
