LAYER 1
Consists of a rugged shell cut in a combination of 600 D poly EVO THREAD™ fabric and ballistic poly mesh panels to deliver maximum airflow with exceptional abrasion resistance. Additional features include a cushy neoprene framed collar, side body and arm adjuster straps, adjustable bottom hem width, plus reflective piping at the chest and back yoke for increased visibility in low light situations.
LAYER 2
Wet weather rides are never a problem, as this style is also equipped with a sturdy AquaRes™ laminated rip stop nylon waterproof/breathable rain jacket. This jacket can be worn both over or under the main outer shell, as weather conditions dictate. Additional features include sturdy rip stop nylon construction with cool mesh lining, double storm flap front closure, side snap pockets, mandarin style knit trim collar and an interior storage pocket.

Our Two Cents
The Olympia Eve jacket for women is a great jacket for spring, summer and fall. It is very similar to the Airglide 5 jacket, but is offered at a lower price point largely due to the main material used being Olympia’s house brand rather than brand name Cordura. There are some minor differences, but functionally the Eve is very similar.
This jacket comes with the same armor system as most other Olympia jackets which is quite nice. The shoulder and elbow armor is CE rated and the back pad is too. Some brands require an upgrade to get a decent back pad, but this one looks pretty good to me. Take a look at our photo gallery to see what those look like.
For summer, this jacket should be great. About 75% of the shell is a nice open weave mesh material, so without the liner installed, air should flow right through to your body. It should be great even in the hottest months. And the jacket also has a very unique rain liner as well. It has multiple uses. It can be worn under the jacket as a wind break for cooler weather, and you can also wear it over the jacket just like a separate rain jacket. And you can even wear it off the bike as a casual style. That can be a neat feature for longer distance riders where space in your bags is a premium. Have a look at our photo gallery to see what the liner looks like alone. It is quite nice! With the multi-function liner, I think this jacket could work for weather ranging from cool to very hot and wet weather too.
The overall cut of this jacket is feminine and has many adjustments to help you with fit in the waist and hips. In our photo gallery look for the pictures showing the Velcro adjustment at the waist and arms and also the expansion zippers and snaps at the hips. In back, there is a short rear zip for connection to Olympia pants. See a link below to the matching Eve pants.
