Sizing Information

Have a look at the sizing chart below to help you choose a size. This chart is provided by Speed and Strength.

I have a size XXL here in the office for size evaluation. Unfortunately I didn’t have the size Small and/or Large we usually have for sizing, but anyway, the XXL measures 44” max in the chest and about the same in the hip area. This is a relaxed cut jacket without a lot of taper in the waist, so the waist size is about the same as the chest and hip (more or less a straight cut jacket).

From these measurements, it looks like the size XXL jacket measures out consistently with the size chart. With that in mind, I’d suggest you order the size you normally wear in women’s clothing and use the max chest figures in the chart as a guide.

Size Bust Waist Hip
XS 31 24-25 35-36
Small 33-34 26-27 37-38
Medium 35-36 28-29 39-40
Large 37-39 30-31 41-42
XL 40-42 32-34 43-44
2XL 42-44 34-36 44-45
3XL 45-48 37-39 46-49

Our Two Cents

The Speed and Strength Minx jacket is a sharp casual style jacket made from a mix of textile and with leather accents. It comes with armor, a removable thermal liner and a removable hoody.

I like the overall style of this jacket. I think this jacket will be easy to wear and has a nice, casual look. It’s mostly textile materials, but it has accents of leather that have been quilted to add some style.

The jacket feels sturdy enough to be effective motorcycle equipment and it includes a set of shoulder and elbow armor along with a simple foam back pad, so there is nothing else to buy.

I’d suggest this style for mild to cold weather use. It has a couple rear vents, but none on the front, so in hot weather, it will be too warm, but for colder weather, there is a removable full sleeve thermal liner. The shell is solid textile so it should provide a wind break. A hoody is attached for your use off the bike. It is removable is you don’t want to use it. :: Paul, 10-29-19

Speed and Strength says: You’ll look like you stopped traffic when you fly past in this 600 Denier Textile Main Chassis with Diamond Quilted Buffalo Leather Accent Panels. You’ll keep warm with a Removable Thermal Liner or stay cool with YKK Zippered Adjustable Dual Back Vents. Removable Knox Lite CE Armor in the Shoulders and Elbows protects you when the ride doesn’t go as planned, and the Removable Hood goes with or stays home depending on your look that day.
