REV'IT! Meridian Jacket for Women

REVIT’s women’s styles are sold in European sizes. We used a size 38 on our Fit Check Mannequin Laverne who is a standard size Small, Dress size 6. The jacket measured out correctly at about 36” max. The waist sizes listed in REVIT’s standard chart are smaller than the actual sizes for each jacket. For example on the size 38 we used for the photo shoot on Shirley, , I measure the max waist at about 32”. Laverne has a waist of about 26” and it looks just fine on her. The jacket flares out a bit at the hip line to about 35”.

The Meridian is a VERY nice feeling solid leather jacket with a ladies cut. The leather is thick but soft and looks great. Armor is included for the shoulders and elbows and back armor is an option.

This jacket has a definite “retro” vibe with the cream color stripes on the sleeves. The Buffalo leather is ideal for smaller ladies jackets since it is soft and flexible. The finish of the leather is somewhat of a matte finish. It isn’t the traditional slick finish nor is it unfinished… it is sort of in between. The jacket has the look of one you’ve worn for years.

Being a solid leather construction, I wouldn’t recommend this one for hot weather, but it will probably do OK from cooler to warm weather. The jacket comes with a removable vest-style insulated liner you can zip in when it gets colder. In a beautiful leather jacket like this, definitely avoid the rain or have a rain jacket on hand.

Armor inserts are included for the shoulders and elbows as standard. It’s REVIT’s CE Level 1 Seesoft armor. The armor is a firm rubber compound and it is molded in a honeycomb pattern which allows plenty of airflow. This Level 1 armor isn’t as thick as the Level 2 armor and is more practical for everyday use on the street. The back protector is optional. The jacket is equipped with a pocket to accept a Seesoft CE Level 2 Back Protector Insert type RV (RV refers to the shape). Take the link below to order. In the inside tail of the jacket is a short rear zipper to connect to REVIT riding pants. But many people will opt to wear this jacket with riding jeans or just their own jeans and also near the rear connection zipper is a couple of snap-close loops you can use to connect the jacket to your belt or loops on your jeans. A more secure alternative to connecting the jacket to jeans is REVIT’s Safeway belt (take the link below). It’s a neat alternative.
