This model is made with synthetic suede material in the palm and stretchy material on the back of the hand, so they are an easy-to-fit glove.
Our Two Cents
The CoolPro II gloves by Fly are a minimalist summer glove to give protection in a package that can be worn on the warmest days. The palm of these gloves is Clarino, which is a synthetic suede material. Most anybody who has bought gloves has seen this material since it is very common gloves styles like this. The back of the hand is a combination of nylon material and full mesh material (the black part). Being a stretch material, the fit of the gloves is pretty easy.
There isn’t much crash protection here for street riding, but rather these gloves are built more comparably with off road gloves or “mechanix” type shop gloves. The silicone printed areas in the palm are done on a second layer of material and there are a couple pads in the heel of the hand which have a slight bit of padding. I also see that the index finger has a strip of conductive material so you can manipulate your phone with the gloves on.
A lot of people like a minimalist glove like this for hot weather and for the convenience of being able to store them away in a pocket. I like the overall feel of the gloves and the build quality seems good. They definitely feel like a good value considering the very low price. :: Paul, 09-28-17
