Sizing Information
We tried a size Medium and an XL on our Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey. Those are sizes they usually wear in an “American” cut jacket. This jacket from REV’IT! fits well enough and it looks sharp, but there is very minimal room left. Many brands from Europe exhibit a fit like this, such as Alpinestars. If you look at REV’IT!’s published size chart (below), you’ll see their estimate of chest size is at least a full size smaller than what you’d find in equivalent US designed clothing.
We measured each jacket and tried them on and we’ve concluded that the fit is just about one-half size smaller than what you would find in ordinary US men’s clothing. The amount the jackets are undersized is not as severe as REV’IT!’s size chart would have you believe. For most people, this means you’ll be able to buy the size you normally wear if you want a snug, European style fit. If you want a looser American fit, or if you are between sizes, choose one size larger.
Below is the REV’IT!-published chest size for each jacket’s alpha size along with our estimate of max chest and max waist/belly. This particular style is a sport/street style so there is only a moderate taper from chest to waist, and with a style like this, you can effectively tailor the fit of the waist with the side waist adjusters, which makes the jacket look great and fit great, so don’t worry if your waist/belly is smaller than the max. We only list this for those that have a belly so they can know what minimum size they’d have to choose to fit the belly.
Note: Add about 1” to your chest and belly measurements if you plan to add a back protector.

Our Two Cents
The REVIT Sprint H2O Jacket is a lighter weight textile jacket with a simple sport style. This jacket is equipped with an onboard waterproof liner so you can use this jacket in wet weather conditions. Shoulder and elbow armor is included and a back protector is optional. Both men’s and women’s sizes are available. Please take the link below to view the other gender.
REVIT’s description of this jacket (listed below) is spot on. This is their “starter” design in the solid waterproof jacket market. But be aware that REVIT’s overall quality is very good and carries throughout their line, so even though this is a starter jacket, it still is a good quality jacket. This jacket has a short feature list with regard to climate comfort. This jacket is a solid textile shell with a fixed (and non-removable) waterproof lining. A simple design like this will work well at keeping you dry in a rain, but be advised, this jacket will be best for mild to colder temps since there is no venting option and the waterproof liner will not vent. I can see this as being an ideal choice in areas such as the coastal NW or NE part of the country where temps in the riding seasons are moderate and rain is frequent. The jacket does come with a removable thermal liner to help you in colder temps too.
As for other basics, you get a couple of zippered pockets in front and one inside patch pocket. Adjustments for fit are provided for the waist and also the sleeve ends. The collar is nicely trimmed out with a soft rolled fabric. Night reflectives are provided also.
Armor inserts are included for the shoulders and elbows as standard. It’s REVIT’s CE Level 1 SeeSmart armor which is pliable and comfortable. The armor is a rubber compound and it is molded in a honeycomb pattern. The jacket is equipped with a pocket to accept the optional Seesoft CE Level 2 Back Protector Insert type RV (RV refers to the shape). Take the link below to order. :: Paul, 05-17-21
REVIT says: REV’IT! delivers the Sprint H2O Jacket to riders looking for a no frills, waterproof riding jacket. The lightweight yet tough polyester outer shell comes equipped with a fixed Hydratex liner that permits breathability while keeping water out. Comfortable, low profile Seesmart elbow and shoulder impact armor makes the Sprint an easy grab for daily wear.
