Sizing Information

The Crossroads jackets are offered in European sizes. The normal formula to convert a European size to a US size is to subtract 10 from the European size to get the approx US chest size, and that works pretty well for this style.

Use the chart I put together below to choose a size that will be big enough for both your chest and belly measurements. The jackets are cut more casually and so the taper from chest to waist isn’t nearly as aggressive as a sport/race jacket, so the belly size won’t be an issue for most, but I put my estimate of max belly in the chart so you can make sure the size you choose based on your chest measurement will be big enough for your belly as well.

If you plan to add a back protector, please add 1” inch to your chest and belly measurements before selecting a size from the chart.

Jacket Size Max Chest Max Belly/Waist
46 36 34
48 38 36
50 40 38
52 42 40
54 44 42

Our Two Cents

The REVIT Crossroads jacket gives unusual styling and excellent protection in a jacket that could work for nearly any sort of street rider.

I have to give REVIT credit for their styling. They continue to come up with styles that are new and different from the mainstream. This jacket is a combination of denim style with leather sleeves. The sleeves are made to look “vintage” by pre-creasing them which makes them look like you’ve been wearing the jacket for years. The sleeves on both the brown and back denim version are sort of a “golden” color. It looks like a vintage brass I’m not doing a great job describing the color scheme so have a look at the photo gallery to get the idea. The denim part of the jacket is styled like a regular denim jacket with a shirt collar. The collar is fitted with a small piece to go across the neck you can use in colder weather.

The denim is a blend that includes more durable Kevlar fibers to make the jacket abrasion resistant, and of course, the sleeves are heavier weight leather which should do very well. The armor in this jacket is REV’IT’s SeeSmart CE level one armor. It is much thinner than the traditional “turtle shell” armor found in most sport jackets. The thinner armor makes this jacket fit and look more like a casual street jacket which will make you more comfortable wearing it off the bike. This jacket is made with a pocket to accept a Seesoft CE Level 2 Back Protector Insert type RV (RV refers to the shape). For sizes 46 or 48, choose size 3; for 50 thru 54, choose size 4 and for sizes 56 and 58 choose size 5.

This is a solid leather jacket without venting features. It has a removable vest-type thermal liner which will give it some more insulation in colder weather. I’d recommend a style like this for three season use. Really all but hot summer use. And if you think you’ll be in rain, bring a rain jacket! I don’t think a nice feeling/looking leather like this would do too well if it got soaked.

I think most people will wear a jacket like this with denim pants of some sort. In the back of the jacket, there are a couple of fabric loops you can use to attach the tail of the jacket to your own belt, or if you want to get more secure, you can buy one of REVIT’s Safeway belts, which will attach to the short rear zipper in the jacket to more securely attach the jacket to your pants. Take the link below to see that. :: Paul, 10-28-19

REVIT says: The Crossroads jacket is a combination of 12.5 oz. Cordura® denim for the torso and uniquely treated, highly abrasion-resistant Buffalo Brisk leather on the sleeves. These elements give this jacket a flavor of its own. A snug, detachable thermal liner is included, which doubles up as a leisure jacket when worn separately. On colder days, the collar wind tab helps keep wind out from the neck area but can easily be removed when temperatures rise again. SEESMART™ limb protectors can be found at the shoulders and elbows and our SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector insert can also be added for extra protection.
