Sizing Information
We tried on the Air Tex jackets in a size XL and Medium on our Fit Test Mannequins. Being a street style, I thought both jackets fit well. This jacket has an average taper from chest to waist, so if you have a bit of a belly, please check your measurement against the chart below to make sure the size you buy is big enough. Based on what we saw, I’d advise you to buy the size you normally buy in men’s clothing. If you are sometimes between sizes, then I’d advise you to choose the larger.
I measured every size in this jacket to come up with a max chest and belly so you could check yourself with a tape a choose a size based upon your measurements. I did note that the XXL is only a bit larger than the XL, so I’d say that size runs small. If you are sometimes an XL and sometimes an XXL, this would be the pick. But if you are a full XXL (chest bigger than 47”) you won’t find a fit in this style.

Our Two Cents
Update: We scored a really good deal on this Air Tex Vented jacket from AGV Sport. This jacket is largely a full mesh jacket and it is light weight and perfect for hot weather. It is a lot like other AGV Sport mesh jackets, but with the added styling and protection of leather reinforcements over the elbows and shoulders, which turn an otherwise ordinary style into something more impressive.
And this jacket also includes a waterproof liner which can be used to shed some water if it rains, or to act as a wind block on cool mornings or over passes. The liner is very thin… almost see-thru in fact. The material feels strong though and it being so thin means it won’t alter the fit when used (or not). And of course it will pack away in a super small space when not used. At the closeout price, this jacket compares very favorably to AGV’s most entry level jacket, the Solare, which does not include the liner (or the leather) at $119.
Like all the other AGV Sport jackets, this one comes with the complete set of CE armor and a foam back pad. There are a couple back pad upgrades you opt for if you wish that will give CE level 1 or two. AGV Sport recommends the Forcefield choices, but the D3O is my pick. It has similar ratings and is more flexible and comfortable and for less money
