Sizing Information
Normally I say that Speed and Strength gloves run consistent with other US brands like Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, but I find these gloves to run a bit snug, much like our European brands like Alpinestars or REV’IT! So overall, I’d say they run about 1/2 size smaller than most American brands. If you are between sizes, then choose larger. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Our Two Cents
The Power and the Glory glove is a part-mesh, part-leather short cuff glove. It will be good for all sorts of riding styles and generally for mild to hot weather. The palms are leather and parts of the back of the hand are leather also, but then there is some mesh on the tops of the two small fingers and molded vents on the two other fingers. And there is mesh fabric on the area between the knuckle and wrists, so these gloves will flow a good amount of air.
The gloves, being a short cuff and primarily for summer, aren’t long on protection, but are one notch better than “mechanic” type gloves because of the leather and also the molded knuckle armor. The knuckle armor is “light” protection as it is not as robust as you see on many other styles. Overall, this will be a nice glove for summer which will break in to be comfortable (because of the leather) and will be handy to use because of the short cuff design. :: Paul, 02-08-16
