Sizing Information
These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help. If anything, these gloves run a bit smaller than usual, but not a lot, so I wouldn’t advise choosing a size down from your normal, but if you are between sizes, I’d advise to choose the larger.
Our Two Cents
These hammer down gloves are just the thing for hot weather use. They are built with mesh and fabric on the back so they’ll flow a lot of air.
The palms of these gloves is leather, which feels nice and should give pretty good wear. The knuckles are covered with a molded piece of rubber to help some with impact protection. These are pretty “minimalist” gloves, so they won’t give much protection in a fall, but they feel like they’d be far better than some gloves in this price range (think Mechanix style gloves).
I like how the back of the hand is mostly free flow mesh material and there is even a large panel of the same material on the back side of the thumb. The wrist closes with a simple Velcro tab. 03+-05-18
