REV'IT! Hyperion Gloves

We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

REVIT Hyperion gloves are a great sport street riding gloves. These gloves are VERY similar to the Metis gloves listed in our gauntlet glove dept. The Hyperion have a bit longer cuff than a “short” cuff style and are made to be worn under your jacket sleeve, but they aren’t a full gauntlet style like the Metis. They offer sharp styling, very nice build quality and an affordable price.

Here are some comments from the Metis glove review which are fully applicable to this glove too: In trying on these gloves right out of the package, I find them to be pretty darn comfortable. The goat hide is flexible and thin enough to allow easy movement. And the inside of the gloves are fully lined with nylon material so they slide on easy and will be comfortable. This is a solid leather glove, so consider them for all seasons except for the hottest days of summer (no significant venting here). These will be great on mild days three seasons of the year.

All REVIT products are well made, so these aren’t “cheaply” constructed even though the price is right. For the money, these seem like a good value. S

o the choice between this Hyperion glove and the Metis will be the cuff design. If you want to wear your sport glove OVER your sport jacket sleeve, so with the Metis, but if you ride in a variety of jackets and want the glove cuff under the sleeve, go with this Hyperion. :: Paul, 02-05-19
