These gloves are consistent with the major brands we carry, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
In trying on this glove, I notice the finger lengths are a bit shorter than most. Those with average or short finger lengths will like them, but if you have longer/slender hands then maybe not.
Our Two Cents
The Joe Rocket Velocity 2.0 gloves are a fantastic choice for the budget minded glove shopper. This glove is a very comfortable option for a short cuff summer glove. The synthetic palm has some thin foam padding and reinforced layers in the right places for durability and comfort.
The entire back of this glove is made of a stretch material that breathes easily. There is a little bit of padding across the knuckle area and the fingers get some rubber accents that add to the looks. These gloves are very thin and will not interfere with operation of the controls, you can barely tell you have them on.
The original Velocity glove has been around a long time (now sold out). This “2.0” version is similar but adds touch screen capability on the forefinger and thumb end. Of course they don’t have the protective features of a more robust glove with armor, but these are about one fourth the price. . :: Paul, 09-26-18
